House Committee

Responsible for getting to the meeting place early to set up the podium, bell, flags, song books, etc and to take money. Also responsible for cleanup of the items. They will be on a rotating basis and assigned to a certain Thursday of the month. For example one will always be responsible for the first Thursday and someone different for the second Thursday.

Responsible for getting new member information and setting up a meeting usually a breakfast meeting with the committee. At the meeting club logistics will be presented to the proposed new member as well as information on Rotary International.

Youth Exchange Program:

Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)

Responsible for interviewing and selecting students to attend the leadership seminar for one week. Responsible for reporting and filing paperwork with the District RYLA committee.

Joe McCarthy Golf Tournament

Responsible for securing a date with the Country Club. As well as making signs, registration forms, pricing, donations, tee signs, etc. as needed for the tournament
Pancake Day

Responsible for securing a date with the Elks Club as well as purchasing supplies, making up tickets, flyers and getting volunteers to work and participate.
Disc Golf Tournament:

Responsible for working with Dave Coury in setting a date and collecting sponsors for an annual disc golf tournament.

Dictionary Committee

Responsible for getting the number and names of the third graders at area schools (Greater Plains, Center Street, Riverside, Valleyview, St. Mary’s, Lighthouse Community Christian School, Oneonta Community Christian School, Laurens) and ordering the dictionaries and labeling them. As well as setting up times for them to be handed out
Axel Axhoj Christmas Fund

Operation Warm Coats:
